Storm FM HMV Competition Terms & Conditions
- Entry is open to all Bangor University students, who are over 18, except Storm FM Presenters or those of its affiliates and their close relatives or any person connected to the competition. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.
- Starting on 14th March 2011, during each of the Storm FM shows listed in the Whats On section of the website, a question will be read out on-air and upon emailing a correct answer to win@stormfm.com entrance to the competition will be assumed.
- To enter the competition listeners must email win@stormfm.com and provide an answer to the question. No other method of entry will be accepted.
- Only one entry is allowed per listener during each competition.
- Entrants must provide the Storm FM with their name, age, a contact telephone number and the name of their course. Storm FM will only ever use personal details for the purposes of administering this competition.
- Storm FM’s decision as to the winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
- Entrants who have taken part in the competition are excluded from re-entering the competition, unless their original attempt was an incorrect answer.
- If all contestants fail to win the prize, the production team may implement any contingencies at its discretion. These may include: reverting to another entrant to take part in the competition, re-opening the competition line or playing the competition in shows other than those listed above.
- The prize will consist of but are not limited to;
- HMV Prize Bundle
- Tickets must be collected from the Storm FM Studio, Students Union. in Bangor with proof of identity and age. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.
- Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.
- Storm FM reserves the right to:
- amend these terms and conditions and vary the competition opening times;
- disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way;
- withdraw or substitute any prize, at any stage, should any winner or their guest exhibit inappropriate or dangerous behaviour (including, but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or chemical substances or causing a nuisance) while attending Storm FM premises or where the prize includes attendance to an event;
- cancel the competition, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.
- Storm FM, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered.
- The promoter of the competition is the Storm FM, and the law of Wales and England is applicable in this document.
- Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering.
