AGM Elections 2011

Here are the election results to determine the 2011/12 Storm FM executive committee! All elections were conducted using the alternative transferable vote system (ATV), bar the election for Programme Controller. Due to three people standing for two positions, this count needed to to be run through the single transferable vote system (STV). STV  takes the total number of valid votes  and divides by the number of available places plus one and then adding one vote.

Storm FM Elections Coverage 2010

It’s a very exciting day in the Students Union today… the Students Union elections vote count is taking place, metres from us in Time.  We have decided to give up our day to bring you exclusive live coverage from the count and we will be the first to tell you who will be running your Students Union next year.  Keep it tuned to Storm FM from 3-6pm where we will be broadcasting to you LIVE from outside the count.

Storm FM’s special series of elections programmes start today!

Tune in to Storm FM from 2-3pm to put your questions to candidate for Welsh Affairs and Community, Sharyn Williams.  Then from 4-5pm, we’ll have the Candidates for President, and Communication and Events to answer your questions live on air!

Don’t forget to e-mail your questions – use the nifty little form or text STORM and your question to 60300 (standard rates).

Societies and Sustainability change to schedule: The elections show for Societies and Sustainability will now take place on Thursday 4th March at 1pm.
