StormFM Does Band Aid 20

Category : Shows

After a mostly joking remark made by Biscuit earlier in the day it was decided that a selection of the StormFM presenters taking part in the Merry Little Christmas would all come together in a live cover of the Band Aid 20 single.

This special edition of the Band Aid 20 was brought to you from the lovely singing voices of Vicky, Amy, Lindsey, Caryl, Ash, Chris and Biscuit.

Listen Now and prepare to be amazed…

Track of the Week (12-12-11)

Category : Shows

This week we have the two tracks hotly tipped to be Christmas number 1 battling it out. The two contenders are, Nirvana – Smells like Teen Spirit, put forward by the very same, quite brilliant people who defeated the X Factor single to the number 1 spot with Rage Against the Machine two years ago. Their opposition, X Factor winners, Little Mix with their version of Damien Rice’s Cannonball. It’s up to you who wins, mark whichever track you play on the Storm studio whiteboard and come the end of the week, we’ll tally the numbers up and proclaim one, Christmas Champion of Stormfm 2011!

Christmas number 3!

Category : Shows

Simon Cowell has done it again! It has been announced, Matt Cardle is number one. However with nation wide support (including Breakfast In Bed’s Chris, from Chris’ Track of the Week) The Trashmen have come in at number three. Whereas they did not top the charts like Rage Against The Machine the year before it is still a valiant effort!

So well done here is your prize!

The Trashmen

Although because Cowell is back on top we had better appease him. Here is the Christmas number one for 2010:

Matt Cardle

Christmas in Bed!

Category : Shows

Phew! We had a bit of problem this morning as our Music system had failed us in dramatic fashion. Thanks to Matt Ison and Cameron Ward for helping to sort everything out.

Somehow we still managed to play some great music before everything was brought to a peaceable solution.

We talked about the best pirate noises, coming to the conclusion that the traditional Arrr was best.

There was also a rundown of the best of the Christmas telly- Including Victoria Wood living up to her surname and the rather disturbing revelation that the top gear team have actually been sent to Iraq.

Don’t forget to tune into Breakfast in Bed Meets Skive Time Tommorow Morning,
but now it’s time to catch a train- So
Merry Christmas from the Thursday Morning Breakfast Team
(OK, you need more than one person for a team but who Cares!)
