After trying to pronounce the Welsh Phrase of the week, Dion awarded Welsh Learner of the Year to Ash Kierans

Dion, Cam, Ash, George, Dan and whoever else we can find, what’s happening you ask?

Check out mine and Georges Snowman!!! We left the studio for a Snowball fight, a bit of ‘Snow Graffiti’, and we also built our brand new friend & supporter bellow

StormSnowman!
And here you can see Georges Art/Graffiti…

Snow Graffiti

We had the BigFatQuiz of 2010

In Which the scores ended up
Dancer – 7 – Cam
Blitzen – 7 – Dion
Donner – 5 – George
Prancer – 3 – Scott

After the tense tiebreaker in which we had ANOTHER draw, they each missed the target answer by 2
We moved to a second tiebreaker, for how many weeks had Snow Patrol remained in the UK Singles chart with Chasing Cars the answer being 89 weeks, and Cameron won the quiz with the closest guess…

Team Cracker Won Noel Noise, in a close 3-2 battle with Team Bauble!
Ash & Dion taking the final points recognising the sound of somebody walking in the snow!

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Scott & George fought hard but came runner up

Wrapping Challenge, you guessed it we had a challenge to find out who amongst us was the fastest Christmas Present Wrapper
The Winner of that was Cameron Ward
Most Economical was Ash Kierans, and he also took the award for Best Wrapped Present.
Pictures/Videos to come soon…

Shot or Not - The game where I name shots/shooters and the contestants have to guess correctly as to whether its real or not or be eliminated!
After the second round Dan, Scott, Dion were eliminated for believing B52 was not a shot.
The final contestents George & Cam were caught out with two wrong answers but in the interests of finding a winner we carried on until George beat Scott, with Scott believing Deep Blue Sea was a real shooter.

Cracker Blitz – Sound clips to follow shortly ;)

To all of our listeners on this Marathon Day, The Breakfast in Bed & Skive Time teams would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year, and hope to find you listening again in 2011!!

This will be one of the last shows on storm this year, it’s set to be a marathon from 9am-5pm with as many of your favourite presenters as we can still find in Bangor.

There will be games, quiz’s, a special Welsh phrase of the week, and a leader board for the shows special challenge, which we can now reveal will be

Beermat Flipping or keeping is seasonal, ‘Merry Flip-mas’

for those of you who aren’t up to speed with your drunken bar tricks, it may look something like this

Hopefully, you guys will be able to catch them… there well be a leaderboard tallied over the course of the day, each person gets 3 attempts at flipping as well as maybe a practice go, and then you record the scores, who knows we may even have a prize :P

Best of luck guys, Ash
